What Size TITAN Do I Need?
The short version: 18" handles most boats up to about 27 feet. 24" is built for deep-V hulls or bigger boats that need more offset. Match it to your hull, not the other way around.
Go 18" if: your boat is under 27 feet with a standard hull — it's sized right for the job, nothing more.
Go 24" if: you've got a deep-V hull, a bigger boat, or you just want more margin when you raft up. Boats with towers, or anyone regularly dealing with big rollers or wake chop while tied up, also tend to like the extra offset 24" gives — cheap insurance against contact when things get bouncy.
Still not sure? Don't overthink it. Sizing up doesn't cost you anything but a little extra offset — 24" works fine on a smaller boat, it's just more bumper than strictly necessary. Sizing down when you needed the clearance is the only real miss.
