Quick answers to the questions we hear most about running TITAN.

What pump do I need?
TITAN uses a Halkey-Roberts (HR) valve — standard on high-pressure inflatables, so if you've already got a pump for a towable or another inflatable, you're set. Pumps are sold separately. If you don't have one, TITAN only needs low pressure (up to 1 PSI), so something like our 12V Low Pressure Air Pump is the easy call — small, fast, and moves plenty of air for the job.

How much air should I put in it?
Less than you'd think. 1 PSI with a little give is right where you want to be. TITAN is doing the same job as a big pillow between two hulls — it doesn't need to be rock-hard to protect your boat, and overinflating won't make it work any better.

Do I need to dry it out before storing it?
No. Fold it up and put it in the included mesh bag — that's it. No drying step required.

How do I store it?
Deflate, fold, bag. It compresses down small enough to fit under a seat or in a stowage bay, so it's out of the way until your next tie-up.

Does TITAN need to hang above the waterline?
No — it can rest right on the surface of the water between the boats. You don't need to suspend it in the air for it to do its job.

Where on the boat does TITAN go?
The transom — the flat section toward the stern. That's where you tie off TITAN and where you'll be connecting to the other boat during a raft-up.
